This consultation exists because your experience, not policy assumptions, must shape the next generation of investigative support for those working on child sexual abuse material cases.
The Sovereign Institute works across sectors to transform practitioner experience into open, rigorous and actionable blueprints for how critical work should be supported, governed and equipped.
Child protection is one of those sectors. This consultation is the starting point for its blueprint, built from the operational realities and priorities identified by investigators themselves.
Your answers will directly inform a white paper on investigator well-being in CSAM investigations, a dedicated online event planned for 2026, and the practical priorities that follow. The objective is to identify what investigators need, where the current system fails, and what tools, support, training and capacity-building should be prioritised next.
Please do not include case details, names of victims or suspects, images, videos, links, operational methods, or sensitive investigative information. Responses are analysed only in aggregate and never attributed to you by name.
